There has been a great deal of media attention on security issues in the PHP programming language. PHP is software used by many websites, apps and other systems. These security issues left those websites and systems vulnerable to hackers. To protect your and your child’s data from these security issues, our websites and systems were temporarily taken offline on Wednesday 21 October. We currently have no indication that hackers were able to access our systems or that any data was stolen.
A solution to the security issue has now been found. All websites and systems are currently being secured with this solution. Once we are certain that the solution is working for a particular website or system, we will bring that website or system back online. Our website has been checked and we have safely put it back online. Other systems will be brought back online as soon as they too have been checked and confirmed to be safe and secure.
We will continue to monitor our online security closely and will take additional measures if necessary.
